400g shortcrust pastry - all butter if possible

60g strawberry Jam

30g Glenisk Organic Crème Fraiche

Crostata- free form Italian jam tarts

Method

  1. Roll out shortcrust pastry to a thin sheet. Roughly cut circles of different sizes. Spread with jam then turn and roll up edges to contain the jam
  2. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake at 170ºc for approx 15 - 20 minutes until pastry is golden.
  3. Tip: check underside if very pale cook for another  5 - 6 minutes. Cool and serve with crème fraiche
