175g light soft brown sugar
300ml Glenisk cream
50g butter
½ tsp sea salt
Your favourite ice-cream, to serve
Chopped pecans, to serve

Forkful Homemade Salted Caramel Sauce

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients (apart from the ice-cream and pecans) in a saucepan.
  2. Cook over a low heat, and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Turn the heat up and bubble the sauce for 2-3 minutes until golden and syrupy.
  4. Leave to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  5. Scoop ice-cream into a bowl.
  6. Top with chopped pecans.
  7. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
