Opportunity
The Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in growing Glenisk’s brand presence, consumer engagement, and business impact. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and the ability to execute campaigns that bring measurable results. You’ll lead a high-performing marketing team and collaborate across departments to build brand love, customer loyalty, and real-world ROI.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Marketing Manager will be based at Glenisk’s HQ.
Responsibilities
- Co-create and deliver Glenisk’s 360° marketing calendar across sales, retail, PR, social, CRM, digital, print, events, and on-pack promotions.
- Plan and execute PR activity including press releases, media pitching, product drops, and influencer engagement.
- Build and manage partnerships and key sponsorships (Offaly GAA, Camogie, LGFA).
- Stay aligned with relevant news, trends, and media opportunities.
- Align social, content, and newsletters with brand tone and objectives in collaboration with Digital and Creative teams.
- Manage CRM, newsletters, and community engagement across social channels.
- Support the Innovation Team with tastings, surveys, and consumer insights.
- Collaborate on recipe development, photography, video shoots, and seasonal campaigns.
- Partner closely with Sales on retail promotions and in-store activations.
- Support retail meetings and presentations as required.
- Identify future marketing capability needs and contribute to a collaborative, values-led team culture.
- Develop campaign briefs and copy, and coordinate new product launches with internal teams and external partners.
- Track campaign performance, KPIs, ROI, and coupon creation/redemption.
- Champion Glenisk’s brand story across owned and earned channels.
Required Skills and Experience
- A dynamic, confident multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar marketing role (FMCG/CPG, wellness, or purpose-led brands preferred but not essential).
- Prefer 2 years working in Public Relations.
- A hands-on, creative doer who enjoys turning ideas into action and managing projects end-to-end.
- Strong attention to detail, with experience managing timelines, artwork, and multiple stakeholders.
- A clear, confident communicator, collaborative by nature and calm under pressure.
- Comfortable with presentations, above average copywriting. and brand storytelling.
- Comfortable working with AI (Chat GPT or similar) for optimizing mundane tasks.
- A genuine interest in clean food, sustainability, and purpose-driven brands.
