Promoter
The promoter is Glenisk Limited, whose place of business is at Newtown, Killeigh, Co. Offaly, Ireland, in partnership with Irish Seed Savers Association.
Eligibility
The initiative is open to communities located within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Nominations may be submitted by individuals aged 18 years or over. Individuals under the age of 18 may participate with the consent and support of a parent or guardian.
Employees of Glenisk, Irish Seed Savers Association, associated agencies, or their immediate family members may not submit nominations on behalf of their own organisations or communities.
Initiative Details
The Heritage Community Orchard Initiative aims to support the planting of up to one hundred community heritage fruit orchards across Ireland over the course of the programme.

Selection Process
Nominations will be reviewed jointly by Glenisk and Irish Seed Savers Association.
Selection will be based on a number of factors, including:
Glenisk and Irish Seed Savers Association reserve the right to request further information, conduct site discussions, or arrange visits before final selection. The decision of Glenisk and Irish Seed Savers Association is final. Winners must respond within 72 hours of notification to claim. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the prize, and a new winner may be selected.

Data Protection
By submitting a nomination, participants consent to the use of their personal information for the administration of the initiative.
Personal data will only be used for purposes connected with the initiative unless additional consent is provided.
Data may be shared with Irish Seed Savers or relevant third parties solely for the purpose of assessing nominations, organising orchard delivery, planting, or related communications.
Publicity
Selected communities may be invited to participate in reasonable promotional activity connected to the initiative, including photography, video, social media content, website content, newsletters, and press coverage.
By participating in the initiative, participating organisations and individuals acknowledge and agree that photographs, video, names of communities, and related content may be used by Glenisk and Irish Seed Savers for promotional, marketing, educational, and publicity purposes without prior review or approval of the final content.
Where children appear in photographs or videos, Glenisk will rely on the participating school, club, or community organisation to confirm that all appropriate parental or guardian consents have been obtained prior to participation.
General Conditions
Glenisk reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the initiative where necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Glenisk and Irish Seed Savers reserve the right to refuse nominations that are considered unsuitable, unsafe, inaccessible, or inconsistent with the aims of the initiative.
Liability
Glenisk and Irish Seed Savers Association accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the initiative, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Communities participating in planting activities are responsible for ensuring that appropriate health and safety measures are followed locally.
Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by Irish law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
