Yogurts often have all sorts of ingredients that we don’t believe are necessary – or desirable. In Glenisk yogurts, you won’t find milk powder, potassium sorbate, modified maize starch, sucralose, acesulfame K, aspartame or any artificial flavours, colours, sweeteners or other ingredients. And because we’re organic, you won’t find pesticide residues there either.
You will find a healthy balance of macro- nutrients – and the building blocks of nutrition – protein, carbohydrates and fats. We believe in creating choice and we know that, depending on your life stage, interest or even mood, you may have different needs. We make rich, creamy and indulgent yogurt and we also make fat-free and no-added sugar yogurts. We have a range that is authentically strained to create yogurts that are naturally high in protein. We make goats’ yogurt that is completely lactose-free for those with dairy sensitivity. We also make first fromage frais, suitable for weaning from six months with no added sugar and we make kids’ yogurt with and without added sugar to offer choice.
Each of these yogurts contains its own blend of billions and billions of beneficial bacteria with active strains including Lactobacillus casei, Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus rhamnoses – all live reaching the gut.
